Le Violet Elatoir est une plante indigène, il est sur la liste des plantes menacées. Il poussait sauvagement tout le long de la Seine. Le projet suit le parcours Violet Elatoir le long de la Seine et en mer. La fleur passe d’une fleur naturelle à une plante hybride, en partie en plastique et en partie naturelle. Des espèces hybrides existent déjà dans le monde naturel et ce projet est une vision d’avenir possible
L’exposition du voyage des fleurs est à l’Expressoir du 12 juin au 10 juillet 2021 (4 Grande Rue, Marnay sur Seine)
The Violet Elatoir is a native plant that is now on the threatened plant list. It used to grow wildly all along the banks of the River Seine. The project follows the flower’s journey down the River Seine and out to sea. During the journey the flower changes from being a natural organism to being a hybrid plant, part plastic part natural. Hybrid species already exist in the natural world…and this project is a vision of possible future
